RF Monitoring Legal Disclaimer

AtlasRF is a passive RF monitoring device that receives publicly broadcast radio signals. In the United States, the reception of unencrypted, publicly transmitted radio signals (including ADS-B, AIS, APRS, and Remote ID) is generally lawful. However:

• Laws regarding radio frequency monitoring vary by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws governing RF reception in your area.
• This product is NOT designed or intended for intercepting private communications, jamming or interfering with radio signals, surveillance of individuals, or any illegal purpose.
• AtlasRF may not be used in conjunction with any radar, RF jammer, or other active transmitting equipment. The system includes technical safeguards that may cause it to cease functioning if unauthorized active transmitters are detected. See the EULA for details.
• All BlackAtlas products are authorized for operation within the United States only. BlackAtlas products include geographic enforcement mechanisms that will cause them to cease functioning if operated outside of U.S. authority. See the EULA for details.
• BlackAtlas is not responsible for any misuse of its products.

Geofence & Property Monitoring

AtlasRF includes geofence zone features that allow users to define monitoring boundaries on a map. You are responsible for how AtlasRF is set up, configured, and used on your property. Specifically:

• Geofence zones may only be created for properties you own, lease, or are otherwise authorized to monitor.
• You must ensure that your use of geofence features complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including privacy laws and regulations governing the monitoring of airspace activity near your property.
• AtlasRF geofence alerts are provided for informational and situational awareness purposes only. They do not constitute verified security events and should not be used as a sole basis for security, enforcement, or legal action.
• All geofence data — including zone boundaries, GPS anchor positions, alert history, attestation records, and incident reports — is stored locally on your device. BlackAtlas does not collect, access, or store any of your geofence data.
• Use of geofence features for stalking, harassment, surveillance of individuals, tracking persons without consent, or monitoring properties you are not authorized to monitor is strictly prohibited and may result in license termination.

GPS-denied navigation modes (celestial, dead reckoning, sensor fusion) are inherently less precise than GPS and are provided as emergency backup capabilities.
