All AtlasRF units are made to order with an estimated 8–10 week lead time. You will receive a confirmation email with an estimated ship date within 48 hours of placing your order.
AtlasRF orders may be canceled within 48 hours of placement; once production has begun, they are non-refundable. GridDown hardware (tablets, Sensor Hub, and bundles) is non-refundable — each device is provisioned with a unique authorization token. Digital software purchases are non-refundable once the download link is delivered. Defective products are repaired or replaced under warranty at no cost.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal link in your subscription confirmation email, or by contacting info@blackatlas.tech. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid year — support and maintenance continue through the remainder of your billing period. No prorated refunds are issued. You will receive advance email notifications before each renewal. Your AtlasRF system continues to function indefinitely regardless of subscription status.
GridDown Maps runs at app.blackatlas.tech. After checkout you will receive access details by email; open the app in Chrome or Edge, install it to your home screen, and it runs like a native app from then on — including fully offline once your map areas are cached. Nothing to download from an app store. If you bought pre-configured hardware, it arrives with the app already installed and your map areas already cached.
GridDown Maps is licensed per seat: $600 per seat, perpetual for the version you purchase, including twelve months of updates, data refreshes, and support. After that, $150 per seat per year keeps updates, data, and support flowing. Letting the renewal lapse never disables software you have already installed — you keep running the version you own. It is proprietary software (not open source), and it is also available pre-installed on BlackAtlas hardware. The GridDown hardware we sell is a pre-configured, ready-to-deploy device — you're paying for the hardware, assembly, pre-loaded maps, and testing.
No. All BlackAtlas products are designed with zero cloud dependencies. AtlasRF and GridDown operate entirely on the local device. No data is sent to BlackAtlas or any third party. Software updates are downloaded manually when you choose.
