BlackAtlas LLC ("BlackAtlas," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (blackatlas.tech), purchase our products, or use our services.

Product Data Privacy

AtlasRF and GridDown are designed with privacy as a core architectural principle. All signal processing, detection, alerting, and data storage occur entirely on your local device. BlackAtlas has zero access to your operational data.

Specifically, BlackAtlas has no access to the following — all of which remains exclusively on your device:

• RF detection data (aircraft positions, ship locations, drone detections, FPV signals, vehicle fingerprints)
• GPS coordinates of your installation
• Geofence zone boundaries, property information, attestation records, and incident reports
• Alert history and notification logs
• Track recordings and detection history
• Network configuration or connected device information

There is no telemetry, no anonymous usage analytics, no crash reporting, and no cloud dependency. Our products do not phone home. The only network connections your device initiates are to third-party data sources you explicitly enable (such as SondeHub, APRS-IS, or CelesTrak) — BlackAtlas is never an intermediary in these connections.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Name, email address, and shipping address when you place an order
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers)
• Communications you send to us via email or support channels
• Account information if you create a support account

Information collected automatically:

• IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns
• Device identifiers and general geolocation (country/region level)

We collect this information through Cloudflare analytics and standard web server logs. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, behavioral profiling tools, or sell your data to data brokers.

How We Use Your Information

• Process and fulfill orders, including shipping and customer support
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and support responses
• Improve our website, products, and services
• Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. BlackAtlas does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.

• Service providers who assist in order fulfillment, shipping, and payment processing (e.g., Stripe, USPS/UPS/FedEx)

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure server infrastructure via Cloudflare, and access controls on internal systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain order and customer information for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations, provide support, and comply with legal requirements (typically 7 years for financial records). You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Our website uses essential cookies required for site functionality and Cloudflare security features. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
